The Event
The exclusive unveiling of the build will take place at 6pm on Thursday 25 July at the Deus Cafe Camperdown. Attendees will enjoy an evening filled with a celebration of the Yamaha XT range and an exclusive first look at the Deus team's latest creation. Guest speakers include bike builder in chief Jeremy Tagand and renowned engine tuner Carl Batey, both instrumental in bringing the bike to life. Tickets for the event are priced at $25, which includes a tasty burger and thirst-quenching beer.
The Build
While details of the reimagined XT500 are being kept under wraps until the unveiling, fans of the XT range can expect a creation that honours the original classic while incorporating modern elements. The Deus team is world-renown for its attention to detail and innovative approach to custom builds.
The Venue
The House of Simple Pleasures, as the Deus Ex Machina headquarters is affectionately known, provides the perfect backdrop for the event. Set in a sprawling 1600 square meter renovated factory building in Camperdown, the venue houses a retail space, motorcycle showroom, workshop facilities, and a design studio. The connected Deus Cafe, where the event will take place, is a legendary meeting place for riders and non-riders of all backgrounds.
